Cindy is a proud native of Tulsa, Oklahoma.  She graduated from Tulsa Memorial High School and then attended the University of Oklahoma, earning her Bachelor of Science Degree in English and Secondary Education with a minor in Communications.  Cindy then graduated with honors from the University of Tulsa Post Baccalaureate Paralegal Program and earned her certification with the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA).  She has been dedicated to family law ever since, working for some well-known and highly respected attorneys along the way.  She is also a court certified mediator and enjoys finding common ground for people who would rather not go to trial.

At Diana Cupps Law, Cindy is the Senior Certified Paralegal and Case Manager.  She works closely with Diana and the team to keep all our cases moving forward and to make sure our clients are well informed and prepared for the next step in their journey.

Cindy was a teacher for the University of Tulsa Paralegal Program from 2005 through 2013.  Cindy’s love of teaching is evident in her everyday interactions with clients and with all members of the Diana Cupps Law team.  She can always be found answering questions, coaching, proposing solutions, and tackling projects for our clients.  She is also in charge of making sure that the other paralegals have all the information they need and that they stay up to date on changes in policy, procedure, and the law.

Cindy often brings treats to the office and is usually the one who organizes fun things for the team.  When she is not working, Cindy enjoys spending time with her family and her pets.  Cindy is super proud of her newest addition—a cockapoo puppy named Margie!  Margie began her training in December 2024 to provide support to those in hospitals and nursing homes, and Cindy has high hopes for the love and support this special puppy will be able to provide when she completes training.  Cindy also enjoys attending her church, eating Mexican cuisine, and watching OU play ball.  Go Sooners!  Cindy also has a deep love for Hawaii.  She made her first trip to Hawaii in 1992 with her parents, and most recently returned in 2024, where she bravely conquered her fear of heights by ziplining through the Maui Mountains.  Cindy keeps the 2nd degree black belt she earned in karate on display in her office along with pictures of her family, OU memorabilia, and mementos from Hawaii.

Cindy also volunteers her time as an active member of the Tulsa County Bar Association Paralegal Section and enjoys attending their CLE presentations.
